The students studying English B in the IB Diploma are expected to complete Individual and Interactive Oral Presentations. These are photos of students completing an Individual Power Point Presentation on the movie, Dead Poets Society. The students watched the movie and completed a quiz, wrote an analytical essay and a creative essay. The PPT was based on the various themes explored in the movie. The movie was mainly about conformism and non-conformism and the positive and negative consequences of both. The movie was especially relevant to the students as it is set in a private secondary school, with students the same age as them. The skills practised were listening, writing notes, researching, writing essays, creating a PPT and speaking.

生徒は映画を鑑賞し、質問に答え、分析文と創作文を書きました。
PowerPoint発表は映画で取り上げられた様々なテーマに基づいて行います。
映画は主に順応主義と非順応主義、そしてその両方のプラスとマイナスの結果に関するものでした。
この映画は私立高校が舞台で同年代の学生の話なので、生徒にとって特に関連がある内容でした。
リスニング、メモの書き取り、研究、作文、PowerPoint発表の作成とスピーキングのスキルが磨かれました。
