Grade 9 is studying about Energy and to understand the relation between electrical energy and chemical energy better, the teacher set up an interesting experiment.
The students used electrical energy to break up a blue solution of copper chloride and they were amazed to see shiny red copper deposit on carbon electrodes!
The students were enthusiastic and did some critical thinking about their observations.
